👋 Hello! Welcome to Gin's Personal Website. I'm Gin, also known as Baozige
🧑 A full-stack developer, webmaster, and internet enthusiast from China
🌱 Keep learning, keep sharing. I hope to leave my footprint in the infinite cyberspace within our limited time
🧱 My undergraduate major was Mathematics, and I studied Computer Science for my Master's degree. After graduation, I've worked at startups and multinational companies. Whether during school or work, I've always enjoyed tinkering with technology. My knowledge spans many areas, but fortunately, I've always produced tangible results. While I may not be an expert in every field, I hope my output can help you ❤️
💡 I usually summarize my learning journey and project experiences into projects or blog posts, and I'm happy to share them with others. When others learn these technologies, they can reference my projects or articles. I find this very meaningful.
Origin of the Name "Baozige"
My pen name is Baozige (Brother Baozi). It's not because I look like a steamed bun (baozi), but because I love eating them! So if you appreciate my content, please don't recommend weight loss tea - instead, tell me where to find delicious baozi, and I'll rush right over 🙂
Origin of the Website Name
Most people around me are programmers or work in related fields. Through conversations with them, I've found that most programmers, after a certain period (usually after 2 years of work), hope to have side income or other sources of revenue.
Most people envy programmers' high salaries, but programmer friends often worry about the "35-year-old curse" - fear of being laid off, "graduated" (a euphemism for being let go), or replaced by younger colleagues. Moreover, aside from programmers at big tech companies and in first-tier cities, most programmers' salaries aren't as impressive as they were 10 years ago. Perhaps it's because there are too many programmers in China, or perhaps it's the impact of the overall economic environment.
There are also students who haven't graduated yet or newcomers to the field who find this site through the internet or friend referrals, hoping to learn practical skills that can boost their job prospects or improve their abilities.
In short, most programmers need a place for growth and learning, whether for their career, side hustle, or entrepreneurship.
At the Programmer Charging Station, you can find articles or courses that suit your needs.
